Innovating Science kit is used to simulate Mendelian genetics and determine patterns of inheritance, and has chips and double dice for replicating both monohybrid and dihybrid crosses. The kit includes activities to determine genotypic and phenotypic ratios to select traits and compare their values to Mendel’s theoretical values. For hands-on learning, the kit has materials for 15 groups of students, and a teacher’s manual and student study guide copymasters for instructional use. The kit is suitable for age 13 and older with adult supervision, and is not subject to Department of Transportation (DOT) shipping restrictions.
